| Trecem la question tags (intrebari disjunctive)
Întrebările disjunctive(Question tags)-sunt nişte întrebări scurte ataşate la finalul unei propoziţii, şi apar în vorbire sau în limbajul informal; se folosesc cu scopul de a verifica adevărul sau pentru obţinerea unei aprobări. Pentru realizarea acestui lucru, forma întrebărilor disjunctive va fi opusă formei verbului din propoziţie (dacă verbul principal este la forma afirmativă, întrebarea disjunctivă va fi negativă, şi invers).
Ex. Not a very good film, was it?
That’s the postman, isn’t it?
You do take sugar in your tea, don’t you?
Întrebările disjunctive se folosesc după propoziţii afirmative sau negative, dar nu pot apărea după cele interogative.
Ex. You are the new secretary, aren’t you?
You are not the new secretary, are you?
